One thing that I have come to depend on a lot, is that links in mails or on pages doesn't go to where they say they do in scams. For example: http://www.wow-europe.com/ This link goes to the official site, how can it be a scam? Well, hover your cursor over it, and you will see the target of the link in the lower edge of your browser. In my example, it goes to shinibana.com, but in scam cases it usually goes to battle_net.com or WoW_support_CN_org or something similar. Do not trust any of those links, and do not click them.
